Now this camera might not be 'HD' per say but that's not a "CON" as it's probably, actually, smarter to get one like this that is ~1024 x 768 as it is plenty for simple Skype or Google Hangouts use. Plus this one works in normal/low lighting situations just fine.

Way better then the ten-years-plus Logitech model we had were it was very low res with nauseating shearing/blurring effects. It's very light weight, unobtrusive, and folds up nice and small for travel.Īppears to update fine with a decent enough FPS rate. They have a well designed, simple, universal mount that has so far worked great on various sized monitors from the thin to the few inches thick. ZERO bloatware (a problem in the past with Logitech et al). No need for a install CD, just plug them in and Windows will optionally update them automatically. First there is next to no installation if you have Windows 7 or above.
